Singular, Plural, Possessive presents the correct use of the Māori kupu (word) ‘hui’*. In te reo Māori (the Māori language), the letter ‘s’ does not exist, yet commonly and incorrectly, ‘s’ is attached to Māori nouns in an English language way. 2019 is the International Year of Indigenous Languages.
Present Tense : Wāhine Toi Aotearoa is a record of the current landscape of women-identifying and non-binary designers invited to use the poster format to address any social, cultural or political issue of concern. The community project gives visibility and voice to the unsung diversity of Aotearoa New Zealand designers.
